LeadPathScore Methodology
How LeadPathScore reviews a public homepage
LeadPathScore reviews publicly accessible homepage signals that may make it easier or harder for a visitor to understand the business, trust it and take the next step. The result is a directional diagnostic report based on detected evidence, not a prediction of exact leads or revenue.
How the scan works
From public page to practical finding
The process is intentionally focused. It reviews one submitted public homepage and turns supported evidence into plain-English findings.
Public URL submitted
A user enters one public homepage URL. No website login or admin access is required.
Homepage retrieved
LeadPathScore requests the publicly available page and reads the returned HTML.
Supported signals checked
The scan evaluates detectable page signals, contact paths and mobile performance data when available.
Evidence mapped
Detected signals are mapped to findings, category results and a directional Lead Leak Score.
Report prepared
The report shows the most important issues, supporting evidence and practical next steps.
Six score areas
What the Lead Leak Score reviews
Each category points to a practical part of the homepage buying path. The scan looks for supported signals only. It does not claim to manually test every browser, device or visitor journey.
CTA / Conversion
Intended to indicate: Whether a ready visitor can quickly find a clear next step.
Supported examples: CTA text, primary action placement, tap-to-call links, contact forms and form length.
Trust Signals
Intended to indicate: Whether the homepage shows proof that may reduce hesitation before contact.
Supported examples: Reviews, testimonials, star ratings, licensed or insured language, guarantees, warranty language, years in business and visible local proof.
Mobile Experience
Intended to indicate: Whether the public page appears prepared for visitors using a phone.
Supported examples: Mobile viewport setup, clickable phone paths and limited PageSpeed accessibility signals when available.
Website Clarity
Intended to indicate: Whether the first message helps visitors understand the offer and next step.
Supported examples: Detected H1 headline clarity and whether the page description is present enough to explain the service.
SEO Basics
Intended to indicate: Whether basic on-page signals help visitors and search results understand the homepage.
Supported examples: Page title, H1, LocalBusiness structured data, important internal links and image alt attributes.
Speed
Intended to indicate: Whether the page may feel fast enough for visitors to reach the first useful content.
Supported examples: Google PageSpeed mobile performance when available, with response time and HTML size as fallback context.
Lead Leak Score
How the score works
The score is based on supported signals detected on the submitted public homepage. Findings affect the related score areas according to the current rule-based methodology.
More important detected issues can have greater influence than minor findings, but the evidence behind the result matters more than treating the number as an exact scientific measurement.
The Lead Leak Score is not a prediction of revenue, conversion rate, search ranking or the exact number of leads a website will generate.
Illustrative example
From signal to recommendation
Detected evidence
The primary contact action is difficult to find early on the homepage.
Finding
A ready visitor may need to search before discovering how to request a quote.
Why it may matter
A visitor who is ready to act may hesitate if the next step is not obvious.
Recommended fix
Place one clear primary contact action in a prominent position and keep the wording consistent.
Report output
What the report provides
The current report turns the same homepage scan into a practical summary, first findings and a Detailed Preview after email verification.
Important limitations
What this scan does not replace
A clear methodology is useful only when the limits are clear too. LeadPathScore is a focused diagnostic scan, not a complete audit of every business system.
Privacy and safe use
Public homepage review only
LeadPathScore reviews publicly accessible homepage content. It does not require website login credentials or admin access. Users should submit websites they own, manage or are authorized to assess. Additional information is available in the Privacy Policy.
